The 4th international conference and exhibition – air freight logistics Vietnam 2019


On September 19thThe 4th International Conference and Exhibition – Air Freight Logistics Vietnam 2019 took place in Tan Son Nhat Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City. This was the big and only event in Air Freight, organized by Vietnam Logistics Associations (VLA) and Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) every two years. The event attracted over 400 enterprises, 50 exhibition booths of using and providing Logistics services both domestically and internationally.

The conference was honored to welcome the senior leaders of Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Industry and Trade, the General Department of Custom, International Air Transport Association (IATA), International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA).

The goal of “Air Freight Logistics Vietnam 2019” is to promote the Logistics industry in general and the Air Freight in particular, in parallel of increasing competitive advantages for Vietnam products in the international market. This is also the great chance for the representatives of more than 35 Airlines and Airports from 30 countries all over the world to exchange the experiences for the Logistics strategic development in the future.

The top 20 speakers in International Logistics industry discussed, shared about the overall picture of Vietnam Air Freight industry in particular and the world Air Freight in general, with the key topics such as Air Transportation and International Trade in the era of 4.0, Logistics HUB: New trends – New opportunities, e-commerce and the lacking of human resources situation in Air Freight industry…

Following the success of the 3 previous conferences, this event is the opportunity for Vietnam Logistics enterprises to open a big bridge with the world Transportation industry, especially in Air Freight.

Attending the conference as one of the main sponsors and as a leading regional integrated Logistics solutions provider in Vietnam, ITL’s representative was the panelist with the topic of “The opportunities and challenges of Vietnam in its effort to become a HUB in the region”. The ITL’s representative said that the biggest challenge was how domestic Logistics enterprises could participate in the global Logistics value chain. “This is the big question which Vietnam Logistics industry needs to find out the answer. As for ITL, we have set the goals to solve this in the next 5 years”, Mr. Ben Anh – CEO of ITL Corporation shared. Mr. Ben Anh also analyzed the US-China trade war, bringing both opportunities and challenges for Vietnam on becoming a regional Logistics HUB. “For Air Freight industry, Vietnam has many potentials to become an Air Freight Logistics Hub of Southeast Asia. The raised problem is that how the big partners choose us, not other countries in the area”, Mr. Ben Anh said.

Attending the conference of “Air Freight Logistics VN 2019”, in addition to listening to sharing of the experts in the Air Freight industry, the guests also could visit the exhibition booths of the airlines and Logistics enterprises of VN and the world. ITL booth attracted the attention of all guests with the different activities and decoration. This was also the place where most of the guests gathered to expand their network, sharing the aspects related to the Air Freight.
